Assos Nostalgia "Summer Wine" - [experimental]

An early experimental work, this film is a visual study shot in the Assos region of the Turkish Riviera, built around the texture and fragility of memory. Emulating the look of 8mm film, it turns toward a house facing the seemingly endless Aegean and treats the image as an act of preservation, holding fleeting days in place before they recede into distance. Paris, the golden retriever at the heart of the piece, now belongs to that distance as well; the film remains, in part, a way of staying close to her memory. I miss her very much. May she rest in peace.
